Sidi Mansour is a hugely successful pan-Arab song. The music is a popular tune from Tunisian traditional folklore and the lyrics were written by Sameh al Ajami. In this performance at the Tunesian TV Channel 21 Nabil gives his own musical improvisation of this well known song.

Obbed Elmel is one of the first singles with which Nabil Khemir introduced his newly released album ‘Layali Dar El Jenna’ (Which means : nights of heaven’s home/house)
The song was composed short after the Tunisian revolution. As we all know, it was on 14th January 2011 that it all began. Obbed Elmel is a song dedicated to the leaders of the dictatorial regiment in Tunisia, who have caused a lot of pain and made thousands and millions people suffer from poverty, this by plundering the state’s fortune.
